Helping Daddy

The other day we bought a new TV stand. The whole time Jeremy was putting it together Kellee had to be right there helping him, it was pretty cute. She was quite the little helper, the worst was when she got a hold of the screw driver and started pounding just like she had seen daddy do. While she was helping I told her to take out her binki and smile for the camera, and that's just what she did.....She had to see everything that daddy did, i guess to make sure he was doing it right.

After they had it almost put together Jeremy looked at her and said " Good job give me a high five." Kellee got so excited and gave him a big slap on the hand. She was pretty proud of herself!

Fun With the Cousins

We had a very fun weekend! Brooke, Stetson, Rainy and Kason came to see us. The first night they were here we gave them the tour of the ranch and went fishing at a pond here on the ranch.

This is Rainy, she is 2 years old. She is starting to talk a lot, my favorite thing that she says is "But why mom?"

This is Kason Phil, he is the cutest little boy. He is fearless and isn't scared to do anything.

When we first got the pond it was raining so the girls played together in the back seat for a while. They had so much fun.I had to stay in and feed Kynzey really quick and when I was walking to where everyone was I just had to take this picture, pretty priceless.

Right after this picture was taken we had a pretty scary thing happen. Kason was so excited about the fish that he leaned forward and fell out of Stetsons arms and started rolling down the bank. He rolled about 3 times and Brooke barley caught him before he rolled again and would have been in the water. After that we were really careful with the kids around the bank.

Jeremy caught the first big catch of the day. It was a sunfish and it was pretty big but we didn't keep it. He was pretty proud of himself. But wait till you see what I caught.......

Yep that is my large mouth Bass he was pretty big. I am way proud of myself because it was my second cast.
This was Rainy's fish, she reeled it in with the help of her daddy. She was pretty excited.

And this is what little Kynzey did most of the time. She likes to hold her binki when she sleeps.

This next picture has a pretty funny story. All night long it was pretty much cast in the line and hook a fish, that is until Brooke started fishing. I don't know how long she really fished but it was quite a while until she finally made her big catch! So of course we had to get the whole family in that picture :)

The kids loved looking at the fish but were scared to touch them, but Kellee finally got up the nerve to touch the fish. She would touch it and then laugh.

Kellee and Rainy had so much fun together it seemed like they were always doing the same thing even sitting on their Daddy's laps.

We had a lot of fun, Kellee loved seeing her cousins. The next day we went to Fort Robinson, which is an old calvary fort, but I am a nerd and forgot to get my camara out of the diaper bag and take pictures but it was pretty interesting.

1st Couple Weeks here in Nebraska

I have taken quite a few pictures since we have been here in Nebraska so here are a few of my favorites......

With Jeremy being able to be around alot more than his last job, he loves to hold his two girls. It is pretty cute, however Kellee sometimes get a little mad that she now has to share her daddy.

Kellee finds it nessesary to torment the cat every chance she gets but Dot is good and just lets her throw her around, we are working on being nice to the cat :)

Jeremy and Kellee take quite a few naps together, and they both sleep hard as rocks, like father like daughter i guess.
Little Kynzey is getting so big. She will be 7 weeks old this week and she is doing so good at holding her head up.
Having a second little one you tend to forget how the littlest things they learn how to do can brighten your day, Kynzey is starting to smile, and it is so much fun to watch.

You gotta love those wide mouthed gum smiles!
This next picture Jeremy will kill me for but i just had to put it up. He came in from work all dirty and decided that his hair was too long so he proceeded to start shaving it. By the time i realized what he was doing he looked like an old man with a horse shoe around his head, so i just had to take a picture.

Just a few days ago they were taking bulls off the cows and just as Jeremy was almost back to the correl to put his horse away she steped on his toe. looks pretty grusom huh, but we decided today that it's not broken just bruised really really bad.
We've all heard the saying they are fighting like cats and dogs. Well maybe we should all try to get along as well and Dot and Ruger do.......
they love to take naps together and they play all the time. They are best buds!
